The Education and Youth Committee of  Bronx Community Board Nine is collaborating with United Coalition Association Inc. on a new initiative that will promote:

“The Importance of Staying In School”.

As you are well aware, the percentage of Latino and African American students dropping out of high school is alarming.  As a result, we are urging people in the Latino and African American communities to help us take a stance and educate the many families who are unaware of the resources available for their children to succeed in school.

We want to have a dialogue with our youth on what are their needs and how we can work together to resolve them.
