United Coalition Association (hosted) Anti-Gang Executive Brunch meeting at Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx, N.Y,  at this meeting were all the elected officials in the Bronx 18th city council district – City Councilmember Annabel Palma, Rep for Congressman J. Crowley, Assemblyman P. Rivera, Senator R. Diaz, UFT, Scan New York, Council for Unity, 43rd police dept, Community Board 9, Weed and Seed and the District Attorney Office. We sat down with ALL the H.S. and J.H.S. Principals in the district of Bronx Community Board # 9. This meeting was to address the issues regarding gangs and gang recruitment in and around our schools. All the schools don’t have this issue, but this is a big problem in the Bronx.

If you were at this meeting, what would you have let us know, or do you think these kinds of meetings work ?

Which one of these choices you would say adds to the issue of crime ?
Should Elected Officials give programs in your community more money to help stop crime in your community ?
